Veg hakka noodles

Quick fix for dinner. Street style veg hakka noodles 😋😋

Recipe

Ingredients
• Noodles – 400 gm
• Oil – 2 tbsp + 2 tbsp
• Salt – To taste
• Finely chopped garlic – 8 to 9
• Finely chopped green chillies – 2
• Thinly sliced onion – 2 medium
• Thinly sliced capsicum – 2 medium
• Thinly sliced carrot – 1 large
• Shredded cabbage – 1 cup
• Soya sauce – 3/4 tbsp
• Tomato ketchup – 2 tbsp
• Vinegar – 1 tbsp
• Black pepper powder – 1.5 tsp
• Chilli flakes – 1.5 tsp

1. Heat about 20 cups of water and let it come to a boil. Add salt and 2 tbsp of oil. Add the noodles and boil them for 3-4 minutes

2. Strain and pour cold water on the noodles. Transfer to a bowl and add some cold water to it

3. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a kadhai. Add green chillies and garlic and sautée for a minute. Add onions and cook on high heat for 2 minutes

4. Add the carrots, capsicum and cabbage. Mix well and cook on high heat for 4-5 minutes stirring continuously. Add salt, pepper, chilli flakes and mix well

5. Add soya sauce, tomato ketchup, vinegar and mix well. Cook on high heat for 2-3 minutes stirring continuously

6. Strain the noodles from the cold water. Add them to the kadhai and toss well. Cook on medium heat for 2-3 minutes or until the noodles absorb the sauces a bit

7. Check and adjust the salt and chilli flakes according to your preferences. You can also add some olive oil and toss the noodles
