Stuffed masala bun

Recipe

Ingredients
For buns
• Lukewarm milk – 1 cup
• Sugar – 2 tbsp
• Dry yeast – 2 tsp
• Maida – 2.5 cup
• Salt – 1/2 tsp
• Butter – 2 tbsp
• Milk – 1 tbsp ( For greasing)
• Sesame seeds – 1 tbsp
For stuffing
• Finely chopped green chillies – 3
• Finely chopped capsicum – 2 medium
• Boiled sweet corn kernels – 1 cup
• Amul cheese cubes – 4
• Salt – To taste
• Black pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
• Chilli flakes – 1 tsp
• Oregano – 1 tsp

1. Take the milk in a big bowl. Add sugar, yeast and mix well. Let it rest for 10-15 minutes so that the yeast rises

2. Sift together maida and salt. Add to the milk and yeast mixture. Mix well and knead slowly to form a soft dough

3. Add butter and knead for 2 minutes to get a smooth and soft dough. Cover with plastic wrap and let it rest for 1 hour (Works best if you keep it in a microwave or oven or any slightly warm place)

4. Once the dough has risen, punch it to remove air and knead for 2-3 minutes until it comes together. Divide into 8 equal portions

5. For the stuffing: Mix together green chillies, sweet corn, capsicum and grated cheese. Season it with salt, pepper, chilli flakes and oregano. Mix well

6. Divide the stuffing into 8 equal parts and fill each of the dough ball with it. Roll into a ball to get a smooth surface. Place it on a greased plate or parchment paper in a plate. Let rest for 20 minutes

7. Once the buns have risen, grease them with some milk and sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Bake in pre heated oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes or until the buns are shiny and golden brown

Apply some more butter and enjoy your fresh stuffed buns 😋😋
