Sabudana khichdi

Soaked sago pearls, boiled potatoes and roasted peanuts. The perfect combination for a delicious, easy to cook fariyali snack!

Recipe

Ingredients
• Sabudana soaked overnight – 2 cup (before soaking)
• Ghee – 5 tbsp
• Jeera – 1 tsp
• Green chillies – 5
• Boiled and diced potatoes – 4 medium
• Roasted and coarsely grind peanuts – 1 cup
• Salt – To taste
• Red chilli powder – 1.5 tsp
• Sugar – 4.5 tsp
• Fresh coriander

1. Heat ghee in a kadhai. Add cumin seeds and let them crackle. Add green chillies and sauté them well for 30 seconds

2. Add the potatoes, salt and mix well with the ghee. Make sure that the potatoes are well coated with the ghee and cumin seeds. Cook for 5 minutes

3. Add the soaked sabudana and mix well. Cook for 7-10 minutes and keep mixing. Add the peanuts and mix well. Cook for 5 minutes

4. Add red chilli powder, sugar and mix well. Make sure there are no lumps. Cover and cook for 7-8 minutes or until the sabudana is soft and well cooked

Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and lemon juice and enjoy your fariyali sabudana khichdi😋
