Mushroom masala

Simple quick and easy recipe using the mushrooms!

Ingredients
• Butter – 1 tbsp
• Mushroom – 400 gm
• Oil – 2 tbsp
• Finely chopped onions – 3 medium
• Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
• Finely chopped tomatoes – 2 large
• Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
• Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
• Kashmiri red chilli powder – 1 tsp
• Coriander powder – 2 tsp
• Garam masala – 1 tsp
• Salt – To taste
• Fresh coriander leaves

1. Heat 1 tbsp butter in a pan. Add the diced mushrooms to this and sautée them on low heat for 10 minutes. Take the mushrooms off heat and transfer to a bowl

2. Heat oil in a kadhai and add cumin seeds. Once the cumin seeds crackle, add onions and sauté until they are brown. Add ginger garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes

3. Add tomatoes and cook until they are soft. Add all the dry spices, salt and cook the mixture well until the oil separates

4. Add 1/2 cup water and boil it for a few minutes. Add the mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes on low-medium heat

5. Add water to get desired consistency of the gravy. Adjust salt in the mushroom masala and garnish with fresh coriander leaves
