Banana bread

Worry no more about wasting those ripe bananas! Try this eggless banana bread 😋

Recipe

Ingredients
• Maida – 1.5 cup
• Baking powder – 1.5 tsp
• Baking soda – 1/4 tsp
• Salt – 1/4 tsp
• Oil – 1/3 cup
• Powdered sugar – 3/4 cup
• Vanilla essence – 1 tsp
• Curd – 1/4 cup
• Mashed ripe bananas – 3 medium
• Milk – 1/3 cup
• Raisins – 2 tbsp
• Roughly chopped dark chocolate – 1/4 cup 
• Almond flakes – 1 tbsp

1. Seive together maida, baking soda, baking powder and salt (Dry mixture)

2. Beat oil, sugar, vanilla essence and curd until it is light and fluffy. Add in the bananas and beat until it is well combined (Wet mixture)

3. Add the dry mixture into the wet mixture and fold it until the flour mixes well. Add milk and mix well
Warning ⚠️ Make sure you don’t over mix the mixture or else the bread will become dense or hard

4. Add the raisins, chocolate and fold them into your banana bread mixture well. If you think the mixture is runny or too thick, you can add a little more maida or milk accordingly to obtain a semi thick consistency

5. Pour into a greased bread tin/mould and sprinkle the almonds on top. Bake in a pre heated oven at 180 degrees for 50 mins. Bake for another 5-10 mins, if required (May vary from oven to oven)
